Would it be possible to add node properties to a specific node from the list node properties tab?

Description

It would be very useful to be able to add a user defined property, such as location, or customer, or environment (prod, dev, test, etc.) using the properties tab of the "list node" screen. This way during the node search it would be very easy to create groups using a search on these properties.
