Error when modifying a Directive when having the Change Request plugin

Description
error is "There was problem with your request. The change request can not be merge because current item state diverged since its creation".
This is really uncommon, hard to reproduce.
Hypothesis: we don't correctly manage encoding, and we don't correctly make the difference between CRLF and unix carriage return
