Apache doesn't write logs on api request
I was doing some tests on a fresh rudder server in 6.0 and noticed that apache did not produce any log when calling the Rudder API.
Found out that all my files under the /var/log/rudder were on root:root and so nothing could write any log.
Updated by François ARMAND about 3 years ago
- Subject changed from Rudder logs are all in root:root to Apache doesn't write logs on api request
- Severity set to Major - prevents use of part of Rudder | no simple workaround
- User visibility set to Operational - other Techniques | Rudder settings | Plugins
- Priority changed from 0 to 48
This sees to be the correct rights and we do have logs for apache with them.
Do you have more details on the problem? Distro, etc ?
