We don't have published an official statement about what we do regarding contribution made (fully or partially) with the help of AI assistant.

The situation is clearly abusive in the crawler space (see https://thelibre.news/foss-infrastructure-is-under-attack-by-ai-companies/ or even https://jan.wildeboer.net/2025/04/Web-is-Broken-Botnet-Part-2/).

The situation is becoming unsustainable in the contribution area for top visibility projects like curl which was forced to forbid any CVE report helped by an IA assistant (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/danielstenberg_hackerone-curl-activity-7324820893862363136-glb1).
We are clearly not there, but the problematics are more systemic than just behing owerwhelmed by bullshit.

Several with who I share that found the resulting policy to be very good and balanced, and we should use it as a basis for our own.
