Choice reset if there is an error in next step popup

Description

If the change message is mandatory and you have an error when you want to validate/decline a change request, the popup is reset and display the error.

But if you can choose the next step, the next step you choose is lost (resetting to default choice), which is confusing as you may not see that it has changed.

The next step should stay the same if there is an error
