Description

This pull request contains various fixes for improving the android support

  • run-inventory: use the same method to run inventory on android.
Send an "intent" to ocsinventory and wait until the file is created.
The run-inventory script is in the android cfengine repo
We need a customized version of ocsinventory
    • android support in standard library
(linux|windows) often use "pure cfengine" promises, so works on any OS (including android)
Replace by linux|!linux as Suggested by Matthieu

This looks grreat, but shouldn't the target of this pull request be 2.5 ? (or even 2.6?) rather than the android branch ?

Those patches are atop of the android branch and will not merge directly in 2.5.

May be you could merge this request in android_2.5 then android_2.5 in 2.5 (this generate some conflicts, but it look manageable).

I tried to merge directly in 2.6, but the result was too scary and didn't look further :-(

Thanks for bumping this Nicolas. It needs a Technical Review, and I'm ashamed to say I had forgotten about it.

I'll get on it tomorrow.

Reviewed and merged. Thank you so much for this Cédric !

Note: changed the version to "not version specific", because for now this is just on a separate branch (..._android), so not in any release.
