Description

A node is being accepted in Rudder while the IP address is not in Authorized Networks. Also, there's no clear message to tell a user to check Authorirezed Networks.

The only error messages are:

error: /default/update/methods/'update'/default/update_action/files/'/var/rudder/ncf/common/ncf_hash_file'[0]: Failed to chdir into '/var/rudder/ncf/common'. (chdir: 'No such file or directory')
error: Policy failed validation with command '"/var/rudder/cfengine-community/bin/cf-promises" -c "/var/rudder/cfengine-community/inputs/promises.cf"'

Dennis,

We should not accept the inventories from nodes outside of allowed network. Which version of Apache are you using ? You are on Ubuntu, am I correct ?

Dennis,

Could you check if the problem still happens for you in 3.1.5 ? I guess http://www.rudder-project.org/redmine/issues/7267 fixed this issue
