Description

ll /opt/rudder/etc/server-roles.d/
ls: cannot access /opt/rudder/etc/server-roles.d/: No such file or directory

which breaks some policies (as it is considered as a root server / relay-top).

It is actually the expected behavior, as "relay" is not a (real) role - at least not one with files in /opt/rudder/etc/server-roles.d/.

I'm closing that one, the root cause being #8463
