Bug #9903
closedThe service management technique does not enable boot services
Description
Technique: Services Management version 3.0
when we create a directive from this technique, there is the section Service starting parameters, which says "This service should be set to start on boot"
when set to Yes, it doesn't do anything

Rudder version 4.0.2 (vanilla installation, no other promises in application)
I've tried auditd and autofs service.
When This service should be set to start on boot is set to Yes, it works as intended.
When This service should be set to start on boot is set to No, it doesn't change it(?), because in chkconfig --list I can see both auditd and autofs set to 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
Rudder version 3.2.9
I've tried cups service with the same results as with autofs and auditd on 4.0.2

Thank you for your feedback - so you are confirming that it does enable on boot, but does not disable on boot.
This is a duplicate of http://www.rudder-project.org/redmine/issues/9872, and i'm closing this one as a duplicate
Thank you !!
