As discussed in #2439, our current version of OpenLDAP (2.4.23) is old, full of already fixed bugs and doesn't support latest version of BerkeleyDB, which causes packaging problems on recent OSes.
We are going to upgrade to the latest and greatest version 2.4.30, which includes many bugfixes, and should not, of course, break anything :)
