User story #2319
closedadd generic names for repositories
Description
Actually we have following repositories:
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-2.3 http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-2.3 http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-2.4 http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-2.4
It means that you have to change repository on the server after each stable release.
With generic names for repositories it would be more sustainable:
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-stable http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-stable http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-devel http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-devel

I've created http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-stable and http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-stable as symlinks to the 2.3.6 version (current stable version).
They will be updated when we release new versions.

Don't we have to use apt-devel and rpm-devel ?

I do not believe that they are pertinent names, since we can "develop" several versions at the same time. apt-2.3-nightly, rpm-2.3-nightly, apt-2.4-nightly seem to make a lot more sense.

Yes, I agree with you. I think we can close this ticket, now.
