add generic names for repositories
Added by Fabrice FLORE-THÉBAULT about 12 years ago.
Updated about 9 years ago.
Description
Actually we have following repositories:
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-2.3
http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-2.3
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-2.4
http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-2.4
It means that you have to change repository on the server after each stable release.
With generic names for repositories it would be more sustainable:
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-stable
http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-stable
http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-devel
http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-devel
- Status changed from New to Pending technical review
- % Done changed from 0 to 100
Don't we have to use apt-devel and rpm-devel ?

I do not believe that they are pertinent names, since we can "develop" several versions at the same time. apt-2.3-nightly, rpm-2.3-nightly, apt-2.4-nightly seem to make a lot more sense.

Yes, I agree with you. I think we can close this ticket, now.
