It is possible to create subcategories of the “User techniques” category in the “Techniques tree” page.
However these are useless as these subcategories do not show up in the Techniques Editor, and cannot be selected when creating a technique.
On the other hand, when creating a user technique, it is possible to select a pre-existing standard category, normally used for Rudder standard techniques only, and I am not sure that this is desirable.
