User story #5541
openManage authorized_keys
Description
Authorized keys are used for personal and system accounts.
I was suprised to see I can't add them from the user management technique since it's such a nice convenience thing.
If you create an initial user environment it is among the things you provide for them.
- For user accounts they will mostly be used in conjunction with locking password-based login or starting different login environments as per a "ssh forced command"
- For system accounts they might be used for interactive maintenace, or also for triggering certain tasks.
I think it would definitely need to be a "multiinstance" thing, since you could have different sources for keys. On the other hand I can also imagine one would need to wipe out even unknown keys.

Hi Florian,
Thanks for the suggestion.
Just to be sure, and for other readers of this ticket, you know there is a ssh meet distribution technique, right? It is under system settings / remote access.
I'm assuming this ticket is to add that functionality to the user management technique. Is that right?

Hi,
I didn't see that yet (poking around)
Probably no benefit putting it in user management?
I would like to come back on this in a few weeks after testing with more users.
