Clarify rudder-dev usage and getting started instructions for newbies

Description
I just used rudder-dev for the first time, and while I can see it's immense power, I honestly had a hard time getting started.
A few things confused me, like "why is this tool not opening a Pull Request for me?" (this was because I hadn't defined the github command, but I had no idea about that).
I also ran this on Mac OS X, and a few things to do with setup are different, and probably worth providing hints about. After dependencies were installed, this worked great on Mac OS X though.
