Description

Hello all,

i'm using Rudder since 3months and it seems that the partition of the DB is full.

I tried to move the DATA_FOLDER for the database without success.

I modified the file /opt/rudder/etc/rudder-web.properties to put some new configs as :

  1. Defaults: archive after 3 days, delete after 15 days. #

rudder.batch.reportscleaner.archive.TTL=3
rudder.batch.reportscleaner.delete.TTL=15

But i didn't find the script to force this new config and may free the size after this new config.

Do you have any info about it ?

Thanks
Romuald

Hello Romuald, sorry for the late answer - we missed your ticket.

We have a FAQ entry here: http://faq.rudder-project.org/topics/14-database-is-using-too-much-space/
But it may not be sufficient: in some case, when the partition is full, postgres corrupt things and does not want to start at all afterward (or Rudder starts, but some/most feature regarding compliance are broken).
We have a procedure for that, to, but only in french for now. If the first faq entry is not sufficient, please let me now and we will try to add an other entry for the corruption case.
