Description
This is disturbing to new users since they cannot find menu entries by name, and moving the mouse around can make the menu appear and disapear.
The right solution to please both experimentd users and newcomers is to memorize the folding and to default to unfolded.
This happened on small screen (10124x...) and on windows, but not on firefox / linux.

by default, it is opened, unless browser windows is smaller than 1258 px wide

This bug is very strange, I couldn't reproduce. Which version of firefox were you using?
