User story #16665
openShow roles nesting
Description
When we add a role, it will automatically add all the nested ones (See attached file).
It can be confusing since there is no indications of that and can easily be mistaken for a bug.

This make the displayed rights very confusing, for instance a user with the rights "read_only and user" will be shown as "inventory read_only configuration rule_only user"
It makes it confusing since the display is different of the output, we are not sure of how the inputs is processed, this different behaviour of "extreme" rights such as administrator and no_rights are making it worse:
-if you add administrator in the rights, everything is overriden and only administrator is kept
-if you add no_rights in the rights, everything is overriden and only no_rights is kept
The first case keep the best role, the second keep the worse, and in between, the display is confusing.
The user has no idea on how the inputs are merged together, and will most likely no trust the plugin to define specific roles.
It should be make clear that all the inputs are ALWAYS keeping the additions of the rights, and exceptions such as no_rights should not happen.
