Bug #18561

We can't create a node property with an empty string value while we can do that for a global parameter

Description
This is an inconsitency.
Moreover, it makes impossible to override an existing (string) value defined in a global parameter by an empty string.
A change in that behavior is a big semantic change. We need to see if it can go in a patch release (likely no) and else target it in 7.0.
