Description
It is sometimes useful to be able to manage members of a group, but without having the group automatically created if it doesn't exist. Example would be groups that are created by OS packages: in this case we may want the group to be created when the package is installed, and only then start managing members.
The attached patch adds new version of groupManagement technique which makes group creation optional (enabled by default).
