It would be much more conveninent to have ActiveTechnique within the Directive object

Currently, the Directive doesn't contains the Active Technique information, except a Technique Version
this is quite unconvenient, for we need to fetch new data nearly every time we manipulate Directive.
Shouldn't we store more information in this object ?
