Description

On Windows or AIX system, when using file_select with irange, we may have the error

fatal CFEngine error: in built-in FnCall irange-arg: Integer is out of range

and agent is stopped

This doesn't happen with cfengine 3.6.2, but seems to happen with 3.6.0 and 3.5.3

Updated by Nicolas CHARLES over 11 years ago Actions #1

I do confirm that the issue happens in CFEngine 3.5.3 and 3.6.0

we need to backport (at least) https://github.com/cfengine/core/commit/bceebac827

Updated by Nicolas CHARLES over 11 years ago Actions #2

backporting this single commit isn't enough

Updated by Nicolas CHARLES over 11 years ago Actions #3

It also needs commit https://github.com/cfengine/core/commit/3d437b10b3, to have ANSI implementation of the system
