Description

On apt setup the post-install script returns an error code.
dpkg is then able to recover

Thanks for reporting. It is not blocking as the installation can go to the end, but still something to investigate.

I think the bug you are encountering has already been fixed by commit:3adf25e1e31bf7cc33e0fb2d5fa6d8c4e84a8ddd as part of ticket #6035 .

Would you mind trying again with a more recent package from repository http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-3.0-nightly/ instead of http://www.rudder-project.org/apt-3.0/ ?
