$ua->ssl_opts( verify_hostname => 0, SSL_verify_mode => 0
Won't work on AIX (no ssl support in perl)
We should instead do:
if ( LWP::UserAgent->can("ssl_opts") ) { $ua->ssl_opts( verify_hostname => 0, SSL_verify_mode => 0 ); }
