It took me some time to find it.
cpanmunus uses curl.
It tells it that the progress bar should be made with "#".
Sometimes it tells it to be silent (option -s) sometimes not (when we are in verbose mode).
curl on rhel3 64 bits has a bug that makes it segfault when it has both -# and -s parameters.
