Description
Allow customer utilities to create an arbitrary set of properties ON THE NODE, which get propagated up to the server, and are then viewable in each node's settings.
(Perhaps a JSON file the user creates/updates on the node? Or a REST API on the local node?)

It is in the hot features, but for now the developping effort is on other parts, so not in 2016.
