Description

On SLES 10, we are using Rug to manage packages but the reporting is wrong since Rug returns error code. In fact:

if I try to install a package which is installed, Rug will return 1 with this message: "ERROR: 'mypackage' is not available"
if I try to remove a package which is not install, Rug will return 1 with this mesage: "ERROR: Can not find resolvable 'mypackage'"

It will lead to have Error reports even though it is not really an error.

This should not happen, because CFEngine obtains a list of packages from the local package manager, and only calls a install/remove action if it is necesary.

Therefore, it sounds more like that (reading the list of installed packages) is broken here.
