Agent watchdog (check-rudder-agent) doesn't kill fusion
Added by Florian Heigl almost 9 years ago.
Updated almost 8 years ago.
Description
Hi,
i was told there's a little problem when ipmitool hangs:
The rudder agent gets killed after a while by the watchdog script
But fusioninventory is not killed, meaning you'll end up with a nice huge pile of hanging fusioninventory processes
-> request to kill it alongside, if it has been stuck for longer than 30ish minutes.

We should be able to add this pretty easily to our existing check-rudder-agent script. It's not exactly the same logic as for cf-agent, because cf-agent touches a file on a succesful run, so we just look at the age of that file.
But we can certainly add something similar. Alexis, would you like to have a stab at this?
