Description

Since Rudder 2.8 I see a lot of times this message on nodes:

2014-01-07T15:32:28+0100   notice: R: *********************************************************************************
* rudder-agent could not get an updated configuration from the policy server.   *
* This can be caused by a network issue, an unavailable server, or if this      *
* node was deleted from the Rudder root server.                                 *
* Any existing configuration policy will continue to be applied without change. *
*********************************************************************************

However, rudder-agent still does it's job, but with this message at the end. After removing all tcdb files the message disappears (for a while). I can't reproduce it.

Do you have any idea if it happens since a long time, or if it happens on another node?

Need to look deeper in it, It may be because the tcdb files gros too big, and a class was still considered up.

It happens on all nodes, but not always. It looks like it happens especially when running cf-agent -KI manually multiple times within a short period.

I think this is a duplicate of http://www.rudder-project.org/redmine/issues/4173

Could you check with the nightly to see if it fixes the problem ?
