Could you be more precise about what do you mean by Rudder specific variable ? Something that can be used in directives ? Or in the Technique Editor ? Or something totally different ?

Note that in the first case, you can define your own parameter in the "parameters" screen (in configuration managment).

this is an idea for the "ncf builder".
Current I use this self created variable for the method "File copy from remote source", as you sad.

I think it's a good idea to make a short Rudder specific variable (only for the NCF web GUI) with the shared-files path.
