Rudder

The server is automatically accepted but you do not see it in the "history" panel of "Accept new node".
The main question is more documentation and display of the server as a client, how do you know it is automatically accepted ?
Can you deactivate it if you want ?

I think this is a good point - we kind of did this quite quickly without really clarifying how it should be done.

• In the search dialog, you can tick "Include policy servers" and this will show the root server in search results (as long as it matches other criteria)
• In the node details view of the server itself, it's Rudder ID is "root", and it says it has a special role as a root server

I guess to be consistent, we should add an element to the list of node acceptations for the root server, with an "internal" user, and the date when Rudder was first run.

It's not currently possible to deactivate it. The delete function doesn't work (because that would break Rudder completely). Do you think it should be?

I think the user/admin should know that the rudder server is managed by Rudder.
The delete function might be modified to deactivate management through web interface.
